Safexpress in a recent move has decided to invest Rs 600 crore in the next couple of years to set up 32 logistics parks doubling its warehousing space capacity to10 million sq.ft. The capacity augmentation will help the company touching the revenue target from the current Rs. 650 crore to Rs 1,000 crore in the next two years, General Manager, Marketing, Vineet Kanaujia said.

He said adding that the lion share of the targeted investment will go to the southern states as the company has already decided to set up a new Logistics park in Chennai. Apart from this, the Safexpress has already invested Rs 35 crore in the 3.86 lakh sq ft. facility, which is located at Vanagaram on the National Highway 5. Currently, the park is handling the loading and unloading of 134 vehicles simultaneously ensuring smooth, trouble free and uninterrupted movement of goods and services from one destination to another.
